When Berner drops his new double album “From $eed to $ale” this October 27th, he will release 1,000 packs of seeds of a unique strain that each come with a signed CD.
The idea is that buyers of the limited drop of 1k seeds will grow the plant and enter it into the “From $eed to $ale Cup” competition. The best pheno/best cultivated entry will win an exclusive cut of the strain.
For the project, Berner teamed up with Plant More Seeds, a community-oriented breeder of cannabis genetics with a vast strain library. The strain they’re releasing is the cross Lavender Lemonnade x Z.
Berner posted an announcement on his Instagram page on Wednesday, September 14th.
The announcement reads as follows:
“My new solo album 💿 { From $eed to $ale } will be a Double Album. It’s dropping on my birthday 10/27.
I did a special breeding project with the legendary @plantmoreseeds for this album 💿.
We will be releasing a very limited seed pack { Lavender Lemonnade X Z } with an autographed physical album.
Since I’ve never had a public birthday party I was thinking maybe we give the thousand people that get the album & seed pack access to a private birthday Sesh.
Im also creating a website for those that participate in this to share their progress on their hunt.
The thousand people that get this album & seed pack are also automatically qualified to enter the { From $eed 2 $ale Cup } which would only be for the 1000 people.
We would look for the best pheno / best cultivated and the winner will get an exclusive Cut 🧬 from myself and @plantmoreseeds instead of a trophy 🏆.
This is something we have spent a lot of time and energy on and we hope that we provide a dope ass experience with this Double album 💿, birthday Sesh, pheno hunt and cup.”
