Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm is a compilation rap album by world famous rapper and cannabis user, advocate, business owner, and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg.  It is often shortened to just Algorithms. The album was dropped in 2021 and is Snoop Dogg’s 19th full length release.  The album was released just after it was announced that Snoop Dogg was an executive creative consultant at  the legendary hip hop record label, Def Jam Records.  In the Fall of 2019, SNoop Dogg appeared on The Jimmy Fallon show, as well as the Joe Rogan Experience podcast to promote the new release.

The album contains 25 tracks and features many guest appearances like Eric Bellinger, Usher, and Ty Dolla Sign, as well as  rappers that are known heavy cannabis users such as Method Man & Redman, and Wiz Khalifa and D Smoke.

The third song on Algorithm is titled ‘No Bammer Weed’ which is an ode to strong,  and powerful cannabis, known in slang as ‘dank.’ While in the song, ‘bammer weed’ refers to lower potency, often dark, poor quality and sometimes outdoor grown cannabis. Another song about cannabis on the album is called ‘Like My Weed,’ performed by Jane Handcock.

Other collaborations on the record include  the song ‘Murder Music’ with Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes, and the track  ‘Diamond Life’ featuring DJ Cassidy and R&B singer Mary J. Blige.
