LA’s Masonic’s on Fairfax Holds Second Annual “Free Seed Day”

On Saturday, April 16th LA weed seed cultivator Masonic (Masonic’s on Fairfax) held a “Free Seed Day,” the second of a regular giveaway that people travel from all over to attend. Masonic’s Free Seed Day first began last September. The valuable giveaway is a chance for small growers to get a large quantity of top-quality genetics by Masonic and others growers in the community. Masonic has a cult following of loyal growers who look to him for advice, knowledge, and affordable, fire genetics.

2022 Is Shavo’s Year

The rockstar bassist for the band System of a Down, Shavo has been in the spotlight for decades. In 2018, based on his love and passion for smoking weed, Shavo founded his own weed brand, 22Red. The brand’s name references Shavo’s lucky number 22. It’s a number that follows him around. He was born on April 22nd, among other coincidental associations with the number. The Pink Box Project Celebrates Women in Cannabis for 4/20

A new, limited-edition collection of cannabis products that will go on sale on 4/20 celebrates women-owned brands. Called the Pink Box Project, the curated collection will retail for $60 and has over 12 items covering cannabis flower, edibles, bath products, and accessories.The project’s founder,
Ebony Andersen, says she was inspired by her own experience in the industry and wanted to celebrate people like herself. Andersen is the co-founder (with Whitney Beatty) and CEO of LA social equity dispensary Josephine & Billie’s.
