This Thursday October 27 the second Smokefest event will take place in Hawthorne. Conceived by Dustin Bartz of Bartz Barbecue, ticket prices include five hours of all-you-can eat gourmet barbecue and veggie bites along with a joint of top-shelf weed.
Billed as a “Barbecue, Music, Cannabis” event, it’s the second Smokefest that Bartz has put on. The first one was a success at the same venue a few months ago.
Tomorrow’s event from 9pm to 2am will include live music by Psycho Les from the Beatnuts as well as an appearance by musicians and social media star Marty Grimes.
DJ sets include C-Minus, DJ Roueche, and DJ Hash. The event is hosted by comedian Ezone.
The hand-rolled joint that each attendee receives contains Redline Reserve‘s Super Chief weed and a Phunky Feel collectible glass tip. There will also be an open dab bar where attendees can get a hit of Cali Blaise rosin from the Studenglass gravity bong.
Dustin Bartz is known for being a cohost on BReal’s Dr. Greenthumb Show. He is the independent owner of his BBQ event business, Bartz Barbecue.
