It was a celebration on Saturday, September 16th for the grand opening party of Dr. Greenthumb’s West LA, a new spot on the west side for premium cannabis. Owner BReal made an appearance alongside one of his own mentors, Cheech Marin of Cheech and Chong. Both met with fans and signed autographs.
The hip spot easily accessible on Wilshire Blvd is following the trend of a smaller more select collection of product offerings for shoppers, and Dr. Greenthumb’s has its specialty in-house strains under its Insane and Dr. Greenthumb’s brands.
Nearly the entire BRealTV family was on hand to support, including Cypress Hill’s Eric Bobo, Cali Blaise, Ezone, C-Minus, and the crew. Other special appearances included Kenji of Insane and Rojo of the legacy brand Redline Reserve, which goes way back with BReal.
The shop has a back lot that can be used for events and a plush VIP lounge upstairs to accommodate guests.
More Dr. Greenthumbs shops are slated to open in the next six months, with a Van Nuys location opening in just a few weeks from now.
